Many charitable organizations count on the time between Thanksgiving and New Year’s for the majority of their receipts.
Many individuals donate to charities through the United Way, which then funnels gifts to other groups in the community. The United Way Capital Area is changing the way it hands out those funds. KUT’s Jennifer Stayton talked with the United Way’s Dick Moeller.
