Throughout the late 70’s and 80’s, singer/songwriter John Waite fronted new-wave power pop bands The Baby’s and Bad English, scoring radio staples with “Missing You”, “Isn’t it Time” and “When I See You Smile.” After some soul searching and reinventing himself in the 90’s, Waite’s new release Downtown…Journey of a Heart features a Dylan cover and a duet with Allison Krauss on one of his hit ballads.
