As one of Astor Piazzolla’s proteges, pianist Pablo Ziegler began performing with Piazzolla’s New Tango Quintet in 1978. After the classical music master’s death, Ziegler formed the Quintet for New Tango in 1992. With renowned Argentine tango bandoneon player Hector Del Curto, Ziegler joined Michael Crockett in Studio 1A for a live performance on Horizontes.
