The project will add North and Southbound express lanes between Parmer Lane and Cesar Chavez.

They’ll be variable toll lanes. Tolls will be set by Travis County, which will work with TxDOT to set toll rates, meaning the toll price will change depending on demand.

Crews are planning to re-stripe lanes overnight tomorrow after that portion project has been delayedbecause of weather. The Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority expects the MoPac Improvement Project to be completed by Fall of 2015.
