'Hidden Brain' Joins KUT's Saturday Afternoon Lineup

Aug 1, 2018

The votes are in and Hidden Brain with Shankar Vedantam will be joining the KUT's Saturday lineup at 2 p.m. beginning this weekend.

Listeners had a chance to vote for one of four shows (Hidden Brain, The New Yorker Radio Hour, Reveal and It’s Been a Minute) to replace Marketplace Weekend, which is ceasing production. Voters overwhelmingly selected Hidden Brain, a show that uses science and storytelling to help us understand the world, current events and more. Hidden Brain received almost 44 percent of the vote with more than 700 listeners voting for it. The New Yorker Radio Hour was a distant second with less than 24 percent of the vote.

Listeners can now hear Hidden Brain on Fridays at 9 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. on KUT 90.5.
