The SXSW crowds downtown last week. Austin's airport has added a fourth checkpoint today to expedite the SXSW exodus.

Good morning this post-spring break Monday. Austin’s expecting record high temperatures approaching 90 degrees today. The National Weather Service says those high temperature make for elevated fire conditions, so be careful.

Lead Story: It’s one of the busiest days of the year at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, as many visitors in town for South by Southwest head home.

A fourth security checkpoint is open this morning to help reduce wait times. But airport officials still say passengers need to arrive at least two hours before departure.

The SXSW Conferences and Festivals concluded this weekend. You can peruse KUT News’ coverage of SXSW Interactive, Film and Music.

Norwood Trial Begins: A trial starts today for a 1986 Williamson County murder.

It’s the second time someone has been tried for killing Christine Morton. Last time, her husband, Michael Morton was convicted. He spent nearly 25 years behind bars for the crime before DNA evidence proved he was innocent.

That same DNA evidence linked another man – Mark Norwood – to the killing. His murder trial starts this morning in San Angelo. Norwood is also accused of killing another Central Texas woman – Debra Baker – in 1988.

You can read more on the Norwood trail from The Texas Tribune.
