Texas Congressman Ron Paul's continues to run in a virtual tie with Mitt Romney, according to a Des Moines Register poll released Saturday night.

With the Iowa Republican presidential caucuses four days away,a new Des Moines Register poll show a razor-thin margin between former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney and Texas Congressman Ron Paul.

Results of the four-day poll, released Saturday night, put Romney on top of the GOP field with 24 percent of the support. Paul is only two points back, well within the survey's margin of error of +/- four percent. Former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum is third with 15 percent.

Texas Governor Rick Perry continues to sit in fifth place with 11 percent, though he's in a virtual tie with former House speaker Newt Gingrich, but both candidates are well within striking distance of a third-place finish among caucusgoers Tuesday night. Perry's bus tour of Iowa officially concludes Monday in Perry, Iowa.
