We'll just level with you: There’s really no way to completely avoid traffic. It’s kind of the nature of the beast when it comes to ACL. But, if you want to go without all the parking rigamarole, keep reading. If you don’t want to do any of this and the thought of ACL traffic makes you weep, then go here.
As far as convenience, ride-hailing’s probably your best bet. Keep in mind, there are a handful of ride-hailing providers in the wake of Austin’s referendum-induced Uber-Lyft ousting. So, it’ll be interesting to see how pricing is divvied among the providers in the field.
The city's got a rundown of every possible driver-based platform below – some of which are more reliable than others.
As per usual, Capital Metro will also be running on extended hours during both weekends – until 2:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, until midnight on Sundays.
They'll also be offering free shuttles to and from the fest at Republic Square Park.
If you absolutely must take a car, you're not likely to find a parking spot. Even if you do, it's going to cost you.
But, if you absolutely must, here's a map of possible parking locations.
Keep in mind, there are also plenty of Austin B-Cycle stations downtown, and there'll also be a kiosk at Zilker, as well.
