It's here. The long-awaited culmination of what has been, put generously, one of the most remarkable campaign cycles in recent history.
Understandably, a lot of the attention's going to the top of the ticket. But we've partnered with the Austin Monitor, the Texas Tribune and NPR to chronicle the rest of the races this Election Night.
We'll have a look at city and county results with the help of the Austin Monitor, a glimpse into the statewide election returns from the Texas Tribune and a big-picture dissection of the national results from NPR.

Austin voters in five of the city’s 10 districts have decided who will represent them on the city council. This includes districts 2, 4, 6, 7 and 10 – Southeast and most of North Austin. Austinites will also decide the fate of the $720 million transportation bond.
