This morning's Austin American-Statesman reports on what was likely a dream come true for kids in the Reagan High School band: performing with Kanye West at the Seaholm Power Plant during SXSW.
"I didn't even think we were going to see him until his performance," said [Reagan senior DonTre] Jones, who plays the trombone. "When he walked up on stage and was in the flesh like a regular person, you couldn't believe it. It was a reality check."
