On this edition of In Black America, producer/host John L. Hanson Jr. speaks with Joann Tolbert-Yancy, President & CEO of Jotoski Human Resource Consulting Firm based in Dallas, TX. Her consulting firm specializes in employment law compliance, EEO litigation support, diversity training, and management/employee development.

Tolbert-Yancy has spent over 36 years as a human resource professional for major corporations and government agencies. She has always incorporated positive suggestions and applications to encourage people to better themselves and inspire others. Her personal experiences and philosophies have helped many create their own road map for success.

As the author of three books and the host of the “Dream Pusher” radio show, she lives her life out loud…on purpose. She loves to speak and to engage people’s emotions, touch their hearts, as well energize and inspire them to achieve excellence.  

 

John L. Hanson is the producer and host of the nationally syndicated radio series In Black America. It’s heard on home station KUT Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m., as well as weekly on close to 20 stations across the country. The weekly podcast of IBA, the only nationally broadcast black-oriented public affairs radio program, is one of KUT’s most popular podcasts.
