The Daily Buzz at Cannes: Episode 2

It’s the 68th Edition of the Annual Cannes Film Festival, and it’s a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The Daily Buzz is at the Nespresso Café located across from the JW Marriott Hotel on Le Croisette in the South of France with this year’s edition of The Daily Buzz at Cannes 2015.

Daily Buzz co-host John Wildman spent part of the afternoon chatting with "Krisha" director Trey Shultz, his mother Robun Fairchild, and his aunt, Krisha Fairchild, the star of the film.

Based on his short film with the same name, "Krisha" debuted at SXSW in 2014. That summer, Shultz expanded on the short and shot the feature in 9 days with family and friends in his mother’s home.

He returned to SXSW a year later and swept the festival with both the SXSW Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award prizes. He talks with the Daily Buzz about how this film was a family affair and why making this film was the most fun thing ever.
