Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats perform at the Four Seasons during SXSW in March.

The staff at our sister station KUTX scour the earth to bring listeners the best music. Each Friday, they share three of their favorite songs on Morning Edition.

"You Worry Me" by Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats

“You Worry Me” by Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats is incredibly soulful, with that tinge of longing, and I love the piano keys at the beginning. I think the entire track has a sort of wistfulness to it, and the band itself is electrifying. If you ever get the opportunity to see them live, do it.

"Love Me Right" by Amber Mark

I just love “Love Me Right” by New York-based artist Amber Mark. What a range Mark has with her vocals! This track is sexy, full of subtleties and absolutely captures the tone of a frustrated individual in the love department. It has this R&B feel from the '80s-’90s – think Sade or Anita Baker.

"Over & Over & Over" by Jack White

OK, brace yourself. We're getting the guitar out for this last song – specifically, one of Jack White’s guitars: a Wolfgang USA, Edward Van Halen Signature axe with triple Lace Sensor Dually pickups and custom stealth finish. White plays it on “Over & Over & Over,” which also describes how often I’ve listened to his latest album, Boarding House Reach. I’m a big fan; this album goes all over the map, and “Over & Over & Over” is a major rocker with lightning bolts of drama.
