Bidi Bidi Bummed Out: Fans Had Problems Getting A Hold Of H-E-B's Selena Grocery Bags

Hours after going on sale, H-E-B's commemorative reusable bags honoring Texas pop legend Selena were selling fast, but folks looking to get one online encountered some hurdles.

The reusable bags went on sale Wednesday at 6 a.m. for $2 at H-E-B stores or on the Texas grocer's website. But the site couldn't correctly process some customers' payments.

On top of that, some are already being hocked online, going for over $100 on eBay. Believe it or not one is going for $15,000.

Earlier this year, H-E-B featured the Queen of Cumbia on reusable bags on a more limited run and they sold out in minutes. This time, H-E-B says, while it's still a limited run, its stock is larger than the first-edition bags released in March.

Some folks headed to their local store to snag one, only to find them picked clean.

H-E-B has insisted it's got enough supply to go around this time and that it doesn't plan on selling out as quickly. Though, it seems its website was inundated with orders and and couldn't process debit and credit card payments. The grocer suggested those looking to snag a Selena bag should try paying directly through PayPal initially.

Since then, H-E-B has said its payment system back up and running.
