KUT News and "In Fact Daily" collaborate to report on city hall

AUSTIN, Texas — Nov. 5, 2013 —In Fact Daily, Austin's daily electronic newswire covering city hall and local politics, and KUT News are collaborating on coverage in an effort to help Central Texans engage in civic life.

KUT News will interview In Fact Daily reporters on breaking news from City Hall and collaborate on specific stories or series. Stories can be heard on 90.5 during local news breaks in "Morning Edition" and "All Things Considered," and read online at www.kut.org.

"It's an honor to work with these folks,” said In Fact Daily publisher Mike Kanin. "This collaboration will add to the quality journalism that comes from both outlets, and — speaking for IFD — the service portion of our mission.”
