KUT News wins 11 awards from Texas Associated Press Broadcasters

AUSTIN, Texas — March 26, 2015 — KUT News, Austin’s NPR station, earned 11 awards, including five first-place designations, from Texas Associated Press Broadcasters (TAPB) in recognition of excellence and achievement in journalism.

The awards were earned in the Division A, large market radio news category in the reporter, feature, documentary, digital, special content, spot news and specialty and categories. The following content produced in 2014 was recognized:

Reporter
First place: city reporter Joy Diaz
Second place: senior environment reporter Mose Buchele

Feature (serious)

Documentary
