Panel Warns Another Massive Oil Spill Could Happen

Another massive oil spill, similar to BP's uncontrollable leak in the Gulf, could happen again if action is not taken.  That's the finding of the presidential panel investigating the blowout.  The Associated Pressreports the panel said a series of risky decisions to save time and money caused the disaster.

Titans Getting Rid of VY

The Tennessee Titans are letting go of former Longhorn quarterback Vince Young.  The team's owner Bud Adams made the announcement in a statement last night.  Adams is the one who wanted Young drafted No.3 overall out of UT back in 2006.   From the Associated Press:

Young is 30-17 in his five NFL seasons, but only 13-14 against teams finishing a season at .500 or better. He's also battled questions over his work ethic, leadership and injuries. He suffered a season-ending thumb injury on his right hand Nov. 21, tossed his shoulder pads into the stands and told off coach Jeff Fisher in front of the locker room before storming out.

And from Titans Owner Adams:

I want to offer my personal thanks to Vince for all of his positive contributions to the club. These kinds of decisions are never easy and this is especially true for this particular player. I certainly wish that things would have worked out better, but I think it is best for the franchise that we move on at this point.

As far as for VY himself, he tweeted that he's looking forward to new beginnings.
