To celebrate its 2012 national championship, the Texas Volleyball team will play again in Gregory Gym this weekend.

The Longhorns will play an exhibition match against Wichita State. It is free and open to the public. It starts at noon.

After the match, there will be a commemorative ceremony on the court – the 2012 national championship banner will be unveiled in the rafters of Gregory Gym.

In December, Texas swept Oregon in three sets to claim its second national title. This past season was the fourth time the team made it to at least the semifinals in the past five years.

Before and after the event, players and Head Coach Jerritt Elliott will give autographs and take photos with fans. A Longhorn Documentary about the the championship will also be shown. The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a free commemorative autograph poster.

The doors for the event open at 11 a.m. Fans attending the match may park in the Brazos Garage at no cost.
