Snow fell overnight in parts of the Texas Panhandle.

Old Man Winter paid a visit to the Texas panhandle today and dumped heavy, wet snow on the Amarillo area.

KFDA TV in Amarillo reports downed trees and "widespread" power outages.

Xcel Energy says around 5,000 customers are without power right now and it's not expected to come back on for at least the next few hours.

The Amarillo forecast calls for the preciptiation to stop and things to warm up.

Meanwhile, people have been posting their photos and videos of the snow. Here are four videos, including one of a puppy. Cute!
