President Barack Obama just spoke to the nation regarding the school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut today. The latest reports from Connecticut list dozens dead, including 20 children.
A live blog from NPR covering today's tragedy writes:
A visibly upset President Obama, pausing at times to wipe his eyes, just told the nation that "our hearts are broken today." 'The majority of those who died today were children — beautiful little kids between the ages of 5 and 10 years old,' he said. 'They had their entire lives ahead of them ... birthdays, graduations, weddings, kids of their own.'"
