CORRECTION: In the original version of this story, we said that David Quinn was Dean of Business Studies at ACC. In fact, the Dean of Business Studies is Charles Quinn.

The University of Texas at Austin and Austin Community College bookended a list of top ten Certified Public Accountant exam success rates among Texas colleges and universities.

ACC was the only community college to make the list.

The Texas State Board of Public Accountancy produces the list. UT had a 75 percent passing rate to rank first, while ACC’s 53 percent rate earned it the number 10 spot. Other schools on the list include Texas A&M university, Baylor University and Texas Tech University.

Dean of Business Studies Charles Quinn said ACC has made the list every year but one since the school got accredited in 2002.

“I’m very proud of our faculty and our students in our professional accounting program,” Quinn said. “They’ve proven time and time again that they can do as good of a job as the best universities in the State of Texas.”

The CPA program at Austin Community College currently has around 400 students, Quinn added.
