For the podcast "24 Hours in Austin," 20 audio producers spent months documenting a handful of days in the life of Austin. They spent 24 hours straight in one location listening to people’s stories or struggles or whatever happened to be on their mind. They found that as big as Austin has gotten, standing still, it gets a little smaller.

KUT News and KUTX 98.9 General Manager Debbie Hiott has been elected to the NPR board of directors by NPR member station peers from across the country.

In this newly created position, Wade Lee will serve as a strategic advisor to the general manager and oversee the station’s membership, development, marketing and community engagement teams.
