6:00 p.m. update: KUT's Matt Largey reports the  brush fire at Hodde Lane and Cele Road in Pflugerville has been about 40% contained. The evacuation order has been lifted for the 180 or so households that had been evacuated to Hendrickson High School. The fire is no longer threatening subdivisions. Rural farmhouses or structures that may still be at risk will be evacuated individually on case-by-case basis as needed.

Earlier today: A brush fire near Hodde Lane and Cele Road in Pflugerville has now burned between 175 and 200 acres and is still active, according to the Travis County Sheriff's Department.  About 190 homes in the immediate area have been evacuated.

KUT's Matt Largey is headed to the scene and will have updated information throughout the afternoon.

Windy and dry conditions have fueled several brush fires today, including two others in the Pflugerville area and one in Cedar Park.
