UPDATE: Austin police say that Gene Freeman has been found safe.
APDis asking for any information in locating Gene Freeman, a 72-year old Austin resident. She's described as a five-foot tall African-American woman. She was last seen on Wednesday afternoon near Chestnut Avenue driving a 2003 silver Mitsubishi Galant with the Texas license plate 6DXRY.
Anyone with information concerning Gene Freeman's whereabouts is urged to call 9-1-1.
