I remember playing Nintendo 64.
I remember first grade.
I remember flying in a plane.
But I don’t remember my first breath.
I remember birthday parties.
I remember going to Mexico.
I remember my first day in the U.S.,
I felt sad for the first week
but then I got more used to it.
I remember going to school for the first time
on a cold and windy day without sun.
I remember going to New Mexico and New Orleans.
I remember the weather,
mild with a bright and clear sky.
I remember getting an Xbox 360
and finally getting my own bedroom.
I remember what a beautiful day it was
when my baby brother was born.
I remember holding him and playing with him.
I remember him crying
and his first word.
I remember all the days we spent together.
