A Severe Thunderstorm Warning for southeastern Bastrop and Lee counties and northern Fayette County has expired as storms move out of the area.

At 8:26 p.m. Sunday, the National Weather Service said a severe storm was located near Smithville and moving east at 30 mph. Sixty mph winds and quarter-size hail were possible.

An earlier tornado warning for the area has also expired.

Additional showers and thunderstorms are possible through the night and Monday morning, the NWS says.
