National Weather Service

Another round of heavy rains and strong winds this evening could bring flooding to parts of Central Texas, forecasters say.

Hays, Blanco and Caldwell counties are under a severe thunderstorm watch until 11 p.m. Much of Central Texas and South Central Texas are under a flash flood watch until Saturday, as a cold front is expected to bring heavy rainfall over the next two days. In Central Texas, those counties include Blanco, Burnet, Burnet Caldwell, Hays, Travis and Williamson.
