The Daily Buzz at Cannes: Episode 3

Daily Buzz co-host John Wildman spoke with Shameless Writer/Director Oh Seung Uk and the film's male lead, Kim Nam Gil, inside the Korean Film Council's beach pavilion over the weekend.

The film also stars Korean actress Jeon Do Yeon, who flew into town just for the premiere. She returned to Cannes for the 3rd time. Last year, Jeon was a member of the competition jury and has also won the Best Actress at Cannes for the film Secret Sunshine in 2007.

Oh talks about which films influenced him when preparing for this project, the chemistry between his two lead co-stars and how he prepared the actors for the intense fighting scenes. Shameless is screening in the Un Certain Regard section of the 68th Edition of the Cannes Film Festival.
