Austin musicians, take note: NPR Music's Tiny Desk Concert series has returned for its second year, and you have from today until Feb. 2 to submit your video.
Just like last year, all you need is a desk, a camera, an original song and, of course, talent. Videos must be shorter than 10 minutes and contestants must be 21 or older. Full submission guidelines and details here; take this quiz to find out if you (or your band) are eligible to enter.
NPR Music says:
We’re once again asking unknown bands and musicians all over the country to film themselves performing one song at a desk of their choice. The contest will be sponsored for the second year by Lagunitas Brewing Company, and the winner will play NPR’s famous Tiny Desk in Washington, D.C., before embarking on a U.S. tour that includes appearances at a taping of NPR’s Ask Me Another and at events hosted by NPR Music and Lagunitas throughout the country.
