The Aggies 2012 schedule should prove to be a significant test in their first year in the Southeastern Conference. The SEC released its first 14-team schedule this morning. It was announced earlier this year that A&M and other former Big 12 stalwarts Missouri would leave behind Texas and the other Big 12 schools in favor of the SEC.
Texas A&M will face Florida at home in its SEC opener September 8th. Other games of note: at home against LSU on October 20th, at Auburn on October 27th and at Alabama on November 10th.

SEPT. 1: McNeese State
SEPT. 8: Florida
SEPT. 15: at SMU
SEPT. 22: TBA, either an open date or a non-conference game.
SEPT. 29: Arkansas (TBA on location)
OCT. 6: at Mississippi
OCT. 13: TBA, either an open date or a non-conference game.
OCT. 20: LSU
OCT. 27: at Auburn
NOV. 3: at Mississippi State
NOV. 10: at Alabama
