Former President Donald Trump waived his right to appear at an arraignment and pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from his unsuccessful attempt to overturn his 2020 election loss in Georgia.

The charges in Fulton County implicate the former president as the head of a sweeping conspiracy to subvert his defeat. It's the fourth indictment in as many months for Trump.

A number of Texas House and Senate seats were on the ballot this election.

The suit, viewed as a baseless hail Mary attempt to get the justices to invalidate Joe Biden's election, has little to no chance of success.
