The first lady may have been uncomfortable using words like "power" and "influence" to describe her role in her husband's presidency, but Julia Sweig says she's not sure Johnson could have pulled it off without the "astute political animal."

“Lady Bird: Beyond the Wildflowers” will feature never-before-seen artifacts such as letters, photographs and clothing that belonged to the former first lady. The exhibit runs through August 2023.
