Horns Lose to the Aggies

The Texas Longhorns wrapped up a losing season with a loss to Texas A&M last night.  The no. 17 Aggies beat Texas 24-17.  The loss means the Horns more than likely will not play in a bowl game.  With a 5-7 finish this year, Head Coach Mack Brown has a lot of evaluating to do of his players... and coaches.

Brrr! It's Cold Out There

The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning for Central Texas including Travis, Hays and Bastrop Counties.  The warning is in effect from 9 p.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday.

Black Friday Rush

Central Texas shoppers woke up before the crack of dawn to stock up their carts with Black Friday deals.  While many people are off today for the holiday weekend, those who work at the International bridges along the Texas-Mexico Border are working overtime. Texas Public Radio's David Martin Davies reports officials were expecting a surge of shoppers from Mexico

The Toy Shopping Begins

KVUE TV has a video this morning of some of the toys in high demand this holiday season including Sing-A-Ma-Jig stuffed singing toys.   KUT's Erika Aguilar just reported on what toys parents should stay away from based on the new list of unsafe of toys from the US Public Interest Research Group.
