Austin's switch to geographic representation is, quite literally, all about where you live.
All of the 78 candidates vying for a spot in City Hall will represent their own enclave in the 10-1 district format, which doesn't offer the most clean-cut of district boundaries.
With that in mind, we've created a map to show where each of the City Hall candidates lives, including the eight mayoral candidates, according to their ballot application filings with the city.
Even districts are solid colors, while odd districts are numbered. The eight mayoral candidates are marked by the letter "M."
For more information on the candidates themselves check out KUT's Hall Monitor site. You can also listen to our entire archive of Ballot Boxing City Council candidate forums.
