Today is the last possible day to register to vote in Texas. And, if you haven’t gotten around to registering, don't worry. We got you.
Here are some of your options:
If you already have a voter registration form sitting around in your house and you just haven’t mailed it in, make sure you mail it in and get it postmarked by midnight today.
If you don’t have a form, in-person registration is the way to go. In Austin, you have a lot of spots for that because two local businesses are working with Travis County’s voter registrar to help voters get registered today.
As they have for the past two decades, Thundercloud Subs is hosting registration volunteers at all of its shops in Travis County today from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. You can find a list of locations on Thundercloud's website.
The folks at Alamo Drafthouse have also joined this effort and will hold voter registration drives at all of its Austin locations all day.
Of course, you can also register at the Travis County Tax Offices. They are staying open extra late today from 7:30 a.m. until midnight. Registrars are also taking voter registrations at the UT Tower.
