The City of Austin is hosting its third annual Career Expo today at the Palmer Center.
The event will feature over one hundred employers and local agencies including Austin Fire Department, Austin Independent School District, Dell, Time Warner Cable, Grande Communications and Whole Foods.
Last year more than 3,500 people attended the Career Expo that offers almost 2,000 job openings. Spanish language interpreters, sign language interpreters and sighted guides will be available and a fact sheet with information to help job seekers will be provided.
The Career Expo is free to attend, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 16 at the Palmer Events Center. Career Expo attendees are encouraged to bring a resume.
