UPDATE 10 pm: Austin Police say they've issued a warrant for the arrest of Endicott McCray on a First Degree Murder charge. He has still not been found after this morning's deadly shooting on Sixth Street.
UPDATE 2:30 pm: Austin Police has named a "person of interest" in the shooting death of a woman on Sixth Street this morning. APD is looking for a 24 year-old man named Endicott McCray. McCray is described as 5’9”, 130 pounds, with long corn rows and a goatee.

Detectives are asking anyone with any information regarding this incident to call the Homicide Tip Line at 512-477-3588 or Crime Stoppers at 512-472-TIPS or text "Tip 103" + your message to CRIMES.
UPDATE: Austin Police now say the shootings in downtown Austin around 2:17 a.m. were two separate, unrelated incidents, not the actions of an active shooter as they initially assumed. Police say a suspect in one of the shootings is in custody. They are still looking for the suspect in the shooting that left a woman dead and four others injured.

EARLIER: Austin Police say at least one person is dead and several wounded in what they called an "active shooter" situation on Sixth Street in downtown Austin. Police are warning people to stay away from downtown.

Austin/Travis County EMS confirms there at least four victims, one woman who died at the scene along with two other women and a man who were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
