Come Meet Local Candidates Running In Texas' Primaries At A 'Civic Farmer's Market' On Feb. 20

Curious about the candidates running in the March 3 primaries in Texas?

Join KUT, Good Politics, MOVE Texas, USTomorrow and the Austin Monitor for a night dedicated to learning about the people who want to represent you (but in a fun way).

Our “Party for the People” will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 20, at the Native in downtown Austin.

We're inviting all local candidates running in primary races — from Travis County Commissioners Court to Congress — to come hang out. Each candidate will have a table for you to visit (think of it like a farmer's market ... but for democracy).

RELATED | The Deadline To Register To Vote Is Feb. 3.

We'll also have job descriptions for each office printed out, so you know what each position does, because hey, civics class was a long time ago.

We want you to be able to get beyond the spin and get to know the candidates for yourself, maybe even share a drink with them.

RSVP here!
