AUSTIN, Texas – March 4, 2020 – For the sixth year, Central Texans have voted KUTX 98.9, the Austin Music Experience, “Best Radio Station” in the Austin Chronicle’s annual Austin Music poll.

“Left of the Dial,” hosted by Rick McNulty, was named “Best Radio Music Program” and Laurie Gallardo was named “Best Radio Host” at the 2020 Austin Music Industry Awards at Emo’s Austin on March 2.

This is the first time “Left of the Dial” has won the “Best Radio Music Program” category. Hosted by Rick McNulty from 7 to 11 p.m., Fridays, “Left of the Dial” is a freeform throwback to the early days of FM radio where anything goes. From new music discoveries, to old forgotten gems – it's a treasure of ear candy that caters to all tastes.
