There has been a cooking competition going on right under our noses in Austin, with some of the city’s best line cooks and sous-chefs.
We spoke with CultureMap food editor Jessica Dupuy about the culinary elimination event Citywide 86’d.
While the competition is happening, the attendees will be able to eat and drink and enjoy themselves, and there will be a telecast of what’s happening in the kitchen. So people will actually get to see these guys running around like crazy with ingredients flying all over the place.
