The defending champion Baylor women’s basketball team moved easily through the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament.
The team beat Florida State last night 84-47. It was the final home game of the season for the Lady Bears – and the last ever for senior star Brittney Griner.
Baylor now moves on to the round of 16 for the fourth straight year. They’ll play Louisville on Sunday in Oklahoma City. The team was ranked the No. overall 1 seed for the third-straight year going in to the tournament.
So far, the only loss for the Bears this season came against Stanford University at a November tournament in Hawaii.
Kansas and Oklahoma are the only other Big 12 women’s teams still in the tournament.
