KUT News Wins National Edward R. Murrow Award For Best Website

AUSTIN, Texas — June 20, 2018 — KUT 90.5’s website KUT.org has won a National Edward R. Murrow award from the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) in recognition of excellence in electronic journalism.

KUT.org won in the large market radio website category with the following stories cited for excellence:

From informative, concise and well-edited news stories, to headlines, to photos and video, KUT.org is a newsroom-wide effort to deliver in-depth stories with the highest journalistic standards, enabling citizens to engage in the community.
This is the sixth National Murrow Award for KUT News. The national awards will be presented Oct. 22, 2018, at the RTDNA Edward R. Murrow Awards Gala in New York City.
