Massive Chemical Plant Fire Near Dallas

An industrial fire in Waxahachie is sending massive plumes of toxic black smoke into the skies above Texas. You can see video of the blaze above, courtesy MyFoxDFW.

Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA is streaming a live helicopter shot of the blaze at the Magnablend Chemical Plant. You can watch that here. MyFoxDFW has its own live stream.

Magnablend's website describes its business as a "custom chemical blending, manufacturing and packaging company." The site is currently down, but you can view this Google cache of it.

The fumes from the blaze are so toxic that firefighters have decided to allow the fire to burn itself out, according to the CBS affiliate in Dallas-Fort Worth.  Elementary students at a nearby elementary school have been evacuated, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
