Earlier: Austin police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 81-year-old man. Santiago Flores was last seen on the 1600 block of Newton Street in South Austin on Monday around 9 pm.
Flores is described as:
- Hispanic male
- 5’04”
- 175 lbs
- Hazel eyes
- Gray hair
Flores was last seen wearing a yellow stripped shirt, brown pants and a black fedora hat. Police don't suspect he was assaulted or kidnapped, but they are concerned because of Flores' undisclosed medical issues.
