2020 Primary Election Results: Williamson County

A number of seats in Williamson County are up for election this year, including district judges, county commissioners and county sheriff.

Most of the Democratic and Republican candidates are running unopposed in the primaries. Here are results for the candidates who faced opponents.

Williamson County Constables

A constable is a commissioned peace officer, elected by county constituents every four years for a particular area or precinct of that county. A constable may enforce any criminal and civil law or motor vehicle violation and conduct criminal investigations.   

Precinct 2 covers the western part of Williamson County, including parts of Austin, Cedar Park and Leander.

Results: Anderson has won the Republican primary, and Tijerina has won the Democratic primary, according to final unofficial election results from Williamson County. 

 

Precinct 4 covers the eastern part of the county, including part of Round Rock and all of Hutto and Taylor.

  • Republican Candidate: Paul Leal
  • Democratic Candidates: Perry Travis (58.20%), Hoby Smith (41.80%)

Results: Travis has won the Democratic primary, according to final unofficial election results from Williamson County. Leal received the Republican nomination after running unopposed in the primary.
