Join Texas Standard, KUT, KVUE-TV and The Texas Tribune for a debate with the candidates running for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate.

We expect most of the candidates from a crowded field of 12 people to participate. The debate will be moderated by KUT’s Ashley Lopez, KVUE’s Ashley Goudeau and Patrick Svitek of the Texas Tribune.

Texas Standard host David Brown will host our pre-debate coverage on KUT 90.5 starting at 6:20 p.m. on Feb. 18. The debate starts at 6:30. You can listen live on KUT 90.5 or watch a livestream of the debate at KUT.org.

Feb. 18 is the first day of early voting in the March 3 primaries. The winner of the Democratic U.S. Senate race will likely face incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in November.
