Did You Buy This Pork Product?

If so, you may want to send it back.  The U.S. Department of Agriculture has issued a recall for some of Imperial Sysco's "Puree Shaped Meats Country Style Pork and Binder Product" because it might contain metal shavings.

As you might guess from the product's label and name, it is mainly for institutional use. The recall affects 4.5 pound boxes with the code EST. 9379 and the production date of 6/16/11.

The products were shipped to Texas and several other states in June. They were recalled after two people reported finding small metal shavings inside the pork. So far, the federal government has not received any reports of injuries linked to the product.
