Interim Austin Police Chief Joseph Chacon provided an update on the shooting that injured 14 people early Saturday morning.

The news conference comes a few days after Austin moved down to stage 2 of APH’s risk-based guidelines.

Lime-size hail and strong winds are also possible, according to the National Weather Service.

The warning is in effect until 2 p.m. Quarter-sized hail and strong winds are possible.

Tornadoes, tennis ball-sized hail and 70 mile-per-hour winds are possible.

Quarter-sized hail and 50-mph wind were possible in the storm.

Thunderstorms are possible in the Austin area through Sunday morning, but no additional severe weather is expected Thursday, the National Weather Service said.
